History

Football club "Oilman" was founded in 1962. Before that, there was a Spartak team in Ferghana, which in the seasons of 1960 and 1961 participated in class “B” of the Second League of the USSR Championship. “Oilman” began his debut season in 1962 in class “B”.

Football teams took their first steps in Turkestan in Skobelev , in the same Skobelev in 1912 the first official football team, the Society of Skobelev Football Players (OSF), was created in Uzbekistan. At the end of 1915, the OSF was the first champion of Turkestan.

The students of the Ferghana Pedagogical Institute became the successors of history - in 1954 they created the Petrel team. In 1960, she was granted the right to play in the USSR Championship games, in class B, the second zone of the Union Republics, where she spent two seasons under the flag of Spartak.

The club for the first time in its history, starting in 2019, will play in the Pro League , the second most important division of the championship of Uzbekistan.
