Troitskosavsky District ( Troitskosavsky District ) is an administrative-territorial unit within the Transbaikal region of the Russian Empire . The administrative center is the city of Troitskosavsk .

Content
History
In 1872, the Troitskosavsk district was separated from the Verkhneudinsk district of the Transbaikal region.
In 1896, the district included the following village communities [2] :
- Ataman-Nikolaev
- Bosino
- Zhelturinskoe
- Kiran
- Kudarin
- Menzinskoe
- Murochinskoe
- Ust-Urluk
- Tsagan-Usunskoe
- Tsagirskoye
- Sheragol
In 1901, the Troitskosavsky District was renamed to Troitskosavsky District .
In 1920, the Troitskosavsk district became part of the Pribaikalsk region of the Far Eastern Republic (FER) proclaimed on April 6, 1920.
In 1921, the county was liquidated, its territory, in part, became part of the newly formed Buryat-Mongolian Autonomous Region .
Population
According to the census of 1897, 32,807 people lived in the district, including [3] :
- Russians - 66.4%,
- Buryats - 32.8%.
