Below is a list of Asian buildings with a height of more than 300 meters: as of February 2017, there are 91 such (4 buildings are twin towers and are given by one point). The tallest building in Asia (and the whole world) is the Burj Khalifa (828 meters, Dubai , UAE ). Of the 90 tallest buildings on the continent, 43 are in China (excluding Taiwan and Hong Kong ) and 25 in the UAE, in the rest of the Asian countries, there are only a few tallest buildings. The list below shows only the buildings of countries located entirely in Asia, therefore there are no skyscrapers , for example, of Russia , which is located both in Asia and in Europe (see also Art. Border between Europe and Asia ).
The high-rise construction boom began in Asia in the second half of the 1990s, so out of the 91 tallest buildings in Asia, only three were built before 1997.
The following list also includes buildings whose construction has not yet been completed, but they have already reached their maximum design height and continue to be actively completed.
It can be noted that buildings above 300 meters do not exist in such economically developed Asian countries as Japan and Singapore . In the first case, this is due to the high seismic hazard of the region, in the second - with the ban of the country's aviation department on the construction of buildings and structures higher than 280 meters.

The column "Height" indicates the architectural height, that is, without taking into account antennas, flagpoles and other easily dismantled structures. Italics highlighted buildings completed to the full design height, but not put into operation.
