Al-Ansar Sports Club ( Arabic: نادي الأنصار الرياضي ) is a Lebanese football club based in Beirut . The club was founded in 1951 , but until 1988 did not win the Lebanese football championship . The club is the record holder for the Lebanese football championships won. The club is supported by many religious communities, but the biggest support comes from the Sunnis . [1] [2]
