Scientific Activities
Julia Vargas began her professional career as a primary school teacher [3] . While working at school, I understood the lack of scientific knowledge about behavior, which prompted Vargas to study and apply applied behavioral analysis in practice. The main directions of research are patterns that link their actions and the behavior of students [4] .
The methodological basis of research is behaviorism , the theoretical development of BF Skinner. J. Vargas wrote: “What Skinner started is not an approach, not a point of view, not a theory, not a discipline or a field of activity. It was and is a science different from psychology in its dependent variables, in the measurement system, in the procedures and in the analytical basis ” [5] . She and some of her colleagues gave Skinner science the name "behaviorism." Behavioriology can be defined as the natural science of human behavior.
In applied developments, he gives specific examples of methods of inclusive education and socialization of persons with disabilities. In studies of J. Vargas, a system of cumulative assessment of achievements is used, giving more objective feedback to students on the results of their learning activities, which contributes to the development of adequate self-esteem and the maintenance / development of cognitive motivation among students [6] .
She published the book Description of Reasonable Behavioral Goals in 1973 and Behavioral Psychology for Teachers in 1977 . In 1990, co-authored with B. Stewart, she published a book entitled “Setting Behavioral Instincts in Babies: A Guide for Parents and Nursing Personnel”. Later editions written by Vargas were articles in the Encyclopedia on behavior modification and cognitive-behavioral therapy, the book “Analysis of the activity of students. Methodology of improving school performance "and two volumes of notes about BF Skinner [7] .
