Eisenstadt, Isaac Naumovich

Isaac Naumovich Aizenshtadt ( June 12, 1919 , Petrograd - December 5, 2006 , St. Petersburg) - Soviet chess player , master of sports of the USSR (1961). PhD in Chemistry.

After 1945 he was in Vitebsk , took part in the All-Belarusian chess tournament of first-category students (spring 1946; took 2nd place after R. Kholmov ). He entered the leadership of the restored chess and drafts section at the sports committee of the BSSR [1] . Then he lived in Leningrad, played for the Petrel. Member of many championships in Leningrad (the best result in 1950 - 8th place). In 1961, he won the qualification match against L. Aronson (+4 −2 = 8). Judge of the All-Union category.
