Dirodeterbium forms crystals of cubic syngony , the space group F d 3 m , the cell parameters a = 0.7492 nm, Z = 8, the structure of the type of dimethyl magnesium MgCu 2 ( Laves phase ) [1] [2] .
The compound melts congruently at a temperature of ≈1600 ° С [2] .
