Avla Verginia’s colleague was Titus Numitsij Prisk . The plebeian struggle that unfolded in previous years for the expansion of their rights under these consuls temporarily abated due to an external threat. Verginius and Numitsiy jointly repelled the Volsk raid, then Verginius made a successful campaign against the eqvs and again teamed up with his colleague to avenge the Sabines for their raid to the walls of Rome [1] [2] .
In 467, Aulus Verginius was one of the triumvirs who organized a Roman colony in Antia [3] [4] .
