Gennady Vasilievich Suslov (born January 1, 1937, Shadriha , Poretsky district — Nov. 29, 2009, Novorossiysk) is a production leader. Hero of Socialist Labor (1982).

Biography
In 1953 he graduated from a seven-year school in his native village, after which he worked on a collective farm. In 1955 he moved to Feodosia, where he worked as a loader in a seaport before being called up for military service. In 1956 he was drafted into the army. After serving in the army since 1959 he worked in Feodosia as a docker. Since 1961 he worked as a loader in the Novorossiysk port. In 1962, he was appointed team leader of the integrated brigade of docking machine operators of the Novorossiysk port. In the years of the tenth five-year plan (1976 - 1960), the brigade led by Gennady Suslov fulfilled daily production standards by 124 - 136%. For outstanding success in export-import transport in 1981 he was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor.
