Biography
Orthodox. Of the nobles.
In 1879 he entered the 3rd Military Alexander School , which he graduated in 1881 and was released as second lieutenant to the 4th Caucasian Rifle Battalion .
Ranks: lieutenant (1884), staff captain (1888), captain (1892), lieutenant colonel (1895), colonel (for distinction, 1899), major general (1906), lieutenant general (1914).
He graduated from the Alexander Military Law Academy in the 1st category. At the end of the academy, he was a candidate for a military court position at the Turkestan Military District Court. In 1894, he was appointed assistant military prosecutor of the Amur Military District Court. In 1897 he was appointed military investigator of the same court, and in 1900 he was transferred to the post of military investigator in the Kazan Military District . Since 1904 he was in the military-judicial part of the rear of the Manchurian army .
On March 2, 1906 he was appointed a military judge of the Amur Military District Court, and on December 6 of the same year he was promoted to major general for the difference in service. October 24, 1908 was appointed military prosecutor of the Amur Military District Court. December 6, 1914 for the distinction of service promoted to lieutenant general. In January 1917, he was appointed chairman of the Irkutsk Military District Court, and on March 17 of the same year retired.
In 1918 he was arrested by the Cheka and executed. He was married, had two children. His son Nikolai is the gentleman of St. George, Major General of the Volunteer Army.
