Biography
Born into a family of translator, editor and journalist Jerji Bubani, who emigrated from Albania to Romania in his youth. Dionysus, after graduating from high school in Bucharest , from 1932 to 1933 was published in the newspaper Kosova ( Constanza ). In 1939 he moved with his family to Albania.
After the communists came to power in 1944, his father was arrested. Dionysus, to save his family, began working at a bicycle factory, selling cigarettes on the streets of Tirana, and later working as a typesetter in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He studied Albanian philology and literature at the University of Tirana . In 1946 he took up journalism, collaborated with the newspapers Letrari i ri (New Literature), Rinia (Youth), was published in the comic magazine Hosteni, which later became an editor.
The author of articles, essays, works for children, satirical and humorous works, pamphlets , lyrics. He was a famous translator of Albanian works into Romanian and from Romanian into Albanian.
