Game career

Pupil of the Simferopol School of Olympic Reserve. Leonov’s first professional team was Yalta Yalos in 2006. Further, the footballer replaced 6 lower division clubs, but did not stay anywhere for more than one season.

In the spring of 2011, he became a player in the Belotserkovsky Arsenal . This team stayed for three seasons. He was a team leader. During this period, he was watched by the Premier League clubs “ Karpaty ” and “ Sevastopol ”, other teams showed interest [3] . In the fall of 2012, Arsenal had financial problems and Leonov decided to leave the club. The footballer had offers in the first league and one offer from the Premier League club - Kryvbas . I went to Krivoy Rog, but staying in this team did not work. Of the first league, the best options were Alexandria and Steel . Leonov chose Alchevsk [4] .

In the "Steel" reliably entrenched in the first team and began to play on the position of the right midfielder. He was quick, witty and dangerous. He successfully played in important matches against Akhtyrchan and Kramatorsk residents. At number 2, on the position of the right midfielder, he joined the First League team of the 2012/13 season according to the portal Football.ua [3] . For 2 seasons spent in Alchevsk he won silver and bronze medals of the first league.

In the summer of 2014 he moved to Alexandria . With this team, he won the first league tournament and on August 2, 2015 he made his debut in the top division in a game with the Kharkiv Metalist .

Personal life

His younger brother Yuri (1996) is a football player playing in the championship of the Crimea for the club "Evpatoria" [5] .
