Biography
Born November 22, 1938 in the village of mine number 19 of the city of Chistyakovo, Stalin Region (now the city of Torez ) [1] .
During the Great Patriotic War he lived with his grandmother and brothers Ivan and Anatoly. Father fought at the front, mother - Ekaterina Vasilievna Martyntsova (Skotarenko) was arrested as an “enemy of the people." At the end of 1944, the wounded father returned home. In January 1952, the mother was rehabilitated [1] .
After training as an electrician, he left to serve in the naval aviation of the Northern Fleet. He served from October 1958 to November 1963 in the village of Safonovo. July 28, 1963 in Severomorsk Oleg Fedorovich gave birth to a daughter, Marina. After five years of service, the young man graduated from a cultural enlightenment school and a geological exploration college [1] . Under the political administration of the Northern Fleet, he received a higher political education.
In the newspaper "On guard of the Arctic" began literary work as a freelance correspondent [1] . In 1963 he left for the city of Torez in the Donetsk region. From 1971 to 1979 he lived in Murmansk . Labor activities included work as an electrician, sailor, assistant captain, director of the Palace of Culture and head of the House of Officers, deputy director of the Moscow Kolos circus [1] . He worked for several years at the Soyuzgoszirk, where he met, talked, and repeatedly visited the circus On Tsvetnoy Boulevard with Yuri Nikulin . Observations of the work of the circus later formed the basis of the book "Circus is a holiday." [2]
From Moscow he returned to the Donbass . He headed the primary journalistic organization in the city of Torez for 15 years, was a member of the board of the Donetsk regional organization of journalists, headed the public organizations "Donetsk Regional Association of Disabled Cossacks of Labor" Inva-Donbass "and" Donetsk Regional Union of Cossack Journalists and Journalists with Disabilities " [3] . In October 1991 he was admitted to the Union of Journalists of Ukraine [3] . In August 2009, he became editor-in-chief of the all-Ukrainian newspaper “Kazak Donbassa” [3] (which began to appear in January 2010), and then editor-in-chief of the international newspaper “Kazak”.
Author and co-author of more than 21 books. Part of the books was written in collaboration with daughter Marina.
He was a member of the board of the regional public organization and a member of the commission for information policy and freedom of speech at the Donetsk regional state administration.
He lives in Donetsk and has never left the city. His Murmansk wife Natasha, daughter Marina, who was born in Severomorsk, Murmansk Region, who had not visited her hometown and granddaughter Olga for more than 35 years, traveled to Murmansk. In June, on the eve of the next anniversary of the birth of Marina’s daughter, their joint book “FATAL FATE” dedicated to the authors' mother and grandmother was published ..
