Ship Fire
February 15, 2007 at the "Nissin Maru" there was a major fire in the Antarctic waters . One of the crew members perished in the fire [2] [3] . Chris Carter asked the rescuers to urgently tow the ship, citing the fact that a fuel leak from the Nissin Maru could harm Adelie penguins , whose large rookery is located on Cape Adair [4] .
