The wife of Andrei Antonovsky is the American-Catalan translator Catalina Girona [1] , together with whom he translated the works of classics and modern Ukrainian authors into Catalan, in particular, Alexander Poderevyansky , as well as from the Catalan to Ukrainian works of many modern Catalan poets. Together with Catalina Girona, she is a popularizer of the project to establish a cultural bridge between Ukraine and Catalonia .
In 2010, co-authored with the Ukrainian poet Yuri Zavadsky released the poetry collection "Rotvrot". The book, published in only six copies, was created by the Catalan writer Carles Ak Mor . The transliteration and translation into Catalan was carried out by Catalina Girona [2] . Vasily Gudyma was responsible for the design of the book and, together with his brother Mikhail Gudyma, designed it in iron; the book was published in collaboration with the Krok publishing house in Ternopil. Each book weighs 20 kilograms. The cover is made of rough sheet metal. The text itself is printed on rough watercolor paper. Sheets do not turn over - they are strung on metal rods. To read the next, you need to remove the previous [3] from the rods. Each letter contains a short poem written in the style of phonetic poetry, on the one hand in Ukrainian, on the other - in Catalan. In May of the same year, the book was presented at the international blacksmith festival in Ivano-Frankivsk and in the literary forum in Barcelona. In 2012, the Krok Publishing House published a new book by Andrei Antonovsky, entitled Bra.
Antonovsky moderates a group of Extreme Literature on the LiveJournal service.
