Angerrand de Beauve - the son of Robert I de Beauve , a member of the Fourth Crusade .
Biography
Angerrand de Beauve, the eldest son of Robert I de Beauve, together with brothers Robert II de Beauve and Hugo (Gyug) de Beauve took the cross and went with the other Picardian knights to the Fourth Crusade. When deciding on an attack on Zadar in November 1202 Together with Simon de Montfort and brother Hugo (Gug) de Beau made an agreement with the king of Hungary Imre and left the army of the crusaders. Soon Angerran with Hugo returned to France.
It is mentioned several times in chronicles about the conquest of Constantinople by Geoffrey de Villardouin and Robert de Clary .
