General information

16 clubs play among themselves the traditional two-round tournament (one match on their own field, the other on the opponent's field; 30 rounds in total). Teams that took the last six places, fly to the lower division.

Euro Cup quota

The national champion starts in the UEFA Champions League from the 2nd qualifying round.

In the Europa League, Bosnia and Herzegovina is represented by the holder of the country's cup , as well as teams that took 2nd and 3rd places in the championship (all teams start from the first qualifying round). If the cup is won by one of the first three teams of the national championship, then the place in the Europa League goes to the 4th team of the championship.
