Arabistics ( Arabic. الاستعراب ) - a set of scientific disciplines that study the Arabic literary language and its colloquial dialects, literature , as well as history , economics , culture , art , religion , philosophy , ethnography , monuments of material and spiritual culture of the Arab countries [1] . The term "Arabistics" originated in Europe in modern times . [2]

Arabistics in Russia
In Russia, arabistics as an independent field of knowledge stands out at the beginning of the 19th century . The first "Brief Arabic Grammar in Tables" by A. V. Boldyrev was published in 1827.
“The experience of the grammar of the Arabic language” by M. T. Navrotsky (1867) is the first systematic description of the literary Arabic language in Russia.
In the grammar of M. O. Attay (1884), which played a significant role in the development of the Moscow school of Arabic studies, as well as in the “Grammar of the Arabic Language” by A. F. Khashchab (1910), the influence of the Arabic linguistic tradition is traced, which becomes the object of study Arabs ” V.F.
