Description
The M & P10 rifle family is based on the AR-10 automatic rifle base. The standard model has a sliding stock (six positions), a barrel of 4140 grade steel, a 7057 T6 aluminum receiver, and a hard black aluminum flame arrestor.
Options
The rifle was first demonstrated at the SHOT Show in 2013. Three options are available: M & P10 (CA Compliant), M & P10 (Compliant) and M & P10 CAMO. All use a .308 Winchester rifle cartridge, the price ranges from 1,619 to 1,729 US dollars [2] :
- M & P10 CA Compliant : provides a so-called “ bullet button ” that allows you to freely sell weapons to civilians in the state of California [3] .
- M & P10 Compliant : has a fixed butt and non-rifled barrel that allows you to freely sell weapons to civilians in Connecticut , Massachusetts , Maryland , New Jersey and New York [4] .
- M & P10 CAMO : has a Magpul Original Equipment butt, as well as a camouflage paint on the receiver, forend and pistol grip [5] .
