Alexey Semenovich Andryusha was born in the city of Samara in a working family. He graduated from elementary school.

In June 1941, the Shirinsky RVK of the Khak Autonomous Region was drafted into the Red Army and was then sent to the front .

On November 2, 1943, near the village of Krivino, Tolochinsky district, Vitebsk region , he discovered an enemy machine gun group in battle. He called the artillery fire and, adjusting it, destroyed it. On November 15, by order of the command, he conducted reconnaissance in the area of ​​the village of Rudnya , specifying the position of the front line . On April 27, 1945, in the vicinity of the city of Shtorkov in Germany, with his squad, he was cut off from his units, which turned into a counterattack by the enemy. During the battle, soldiers of the squad destroyed 13 enemy soldiers and officers, and captured four soldiers and officers. On May 6, 1946, by a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR, he was awarded the Order of Glory of the 1st degree.
