Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, Jr.

NTR Junior was born on May 20, 1983 in Hyderabad, in the family of actor and politician Nandamuri Harikrishna and his second wife Shalini. He had two brothers and a paternal sister: Janaki Ram (died in a car accident on December 6, 2014 ), Sukhashini and Kalyan Ram ^[6] . The future actor studied first at Vidyaranya High School ^[7] , then at Vignan Engineering College in Guntur , who was asked to leave because of bad behavior. 1991–2009

NTR began his career as a child actor in the film of his grandfather Brahmashri Vishwamitra (1991). He then played the god Rama in the children's film Ramayanam (1996). Delighted with his play in the latter, Raghavendra Rao recommended it to the director S. S. Rajamuli who picked up the actors for his debut film Student No.1 . However, the production of the picture was delayed, and the first romantic drama Ninnu Choodalani ^[16] (2001) came out on screen. The film was greeted by negative reviews, the actor was strongly advised to work on stage skills, dialogue and overweight ^[17] . After that, the actor subscribed to the film of another debutant director V.V. Vinayaka Aadi . The painting became one of the highest grossing in Tollywood in 2002. After a series of failures, NTR took a break, and his next film, Ashok, was directed by Surender Reddy came out only a year later. In the same year, the actor took part in the experimental film “Rakhi” director Krishna Vamsi paired with Ileana de Cruz . The film had moderate commercial success, but was well received by critics. Returning to the cinema industry in 2010, NTR played a double role in the film “Collision” V.V. Vinayaka. Radhika Rajahmani from Rediff.com wrote in her review that “the NTR is trying to save the situation to some extent with its stunning dances, as well as playing in some of its early scenes” ^[57] , and The Times of India added that “NTR “a junior, without a doubt, a talented artist ... The picture received mixed reviews, but the performance of the role of the NTS was highly appreciated by critics ^{[62] [63]} . The following year, the actor starred in an action movie Srinu Vaytly " Hypocrite ", playing the role of a cunning young man who got involved in the underworld, to get out of his father. For this film, he changed his usual appearance - straightened his hair and grew a beard ^{[64] [65]} . The film collected more than 400 million rupees at the box office, more than any other NTR film at that time ^[66] .
