History
The Moscow cable plant was founded in 1878, when M. M. Podobedov built the first cable plant in the Russian Empire . Initially, the plant was called "Partnership for the Exploitation of Electricity M. M. Podobedov and Co.", but during its existence it changed a large number of names and legal forms.
In 1933, the plant acquired its current name - Moskabel. The company took an active part in the processes of industrialization and the electrification of the state, and provided its products, including during the war . After the war ended, the plant was engaged in projects to provide the construction, oil and gas, and transport industries with wires for high voltage lines. The plant became one of the leaders in creating a comprehensive quality management mechanism, and as a result, the plant's products received an honorary assessment - the USSR State Quality Mark .
In March 2011, Moskabel Zavod Closed Joint-Stock Company was reorganized into a limited liability company.
Modern activities
LLC Moskabel Plant produces many types of power cables with insulation from impregnated paper and plastic, including the armored type and self-supporting insulated CIP wires. Basically, the plant produces middle-class cables designed for voltages up to 10 kV, Moskabel Plant LLC for many years has been supplying its products to UES of Russia , the subway, construction industry enterprises both in Russia and the CIS .
The plant's products have the necessary certificates, the company has a quality management system standard GOST R ISO 9001-2001, the level of environmental safety complies with GOST R ISO 14001-98. The plant owns a large number of certificates for the production of its own products, in particular the certificate of the Ministry of Defense of Russia .
