The hydronym Kharigozinsky stream was proposed by G.V. Morozova under the name of the former Kharigozinsky pond in the Izmaylovsky forest, through which the channel of the stream passed at one time. The Kharigozinsky pond was located next to the current pedestrian road from Lebedyansky pond ; currently, a swamp is located on the site of the former Kharigozinsky pond. The hydronym of the Kharigozinsky pond and the Kharigozinsky stream, in turn, are most likely of anthroponymic origin.
