There is no information about the origin of the North. In December 202 , during the reign of Emperor Septimius Severus , he held the position of consul-supersta with Guy Cassius Regalian . For the first time, the existence of the North became known in 2001 , after the discovery and publication of a new military diploma, which contained the names of consuls unknown until that time.
