He played soccer at an amateur level in the Czech Republic , as well as in the USSR , in Volgograd , while studying at a pedagogical university . By profession - teacher of physical education and the Russian language.
At the beginning of his coaching career in the 80s, he went with the modest club Petra Drnovice from the fourth division to the first. Later, with two other Czech clubs, he won trips to the Czech first division.
In 2003, he led the Slovak club Matador Pukhov to victory in the Slovak Cup . A year later, he won the Czech Championship together with Banik from Ostrava . In the spring of 2006, he made a “golden double” (victory in the championship and the Cup) with the Slovak club “ Ruzomberok ”.
From February 14 to October 2007 he was the head coach of the Russian football club SKA ( Rostov-on-Don ), speaking in the First Division . At the end of the season he returned to the Czech Republic, where he headed the club “Jablonec 97” (now called “ Baumit ”).
