Club career
He spent his entire career in Brugge , for which he played 373 matches and scored 216 goals [1] [2] . For 18 years of his career in a club from Bruges, Lambert five times became the champion of the country , three times the owner of the national cup and once the best scorer of the national championship. He also helped the club reach the finals: European Cup in 1978 (Losing from English Liverpool (0: 2)) and UEFA Cup in 1976 (Losing from English Liverpool in the sum of two matches (3: 4); in of both matches Raul was able to score one goal).
Team Career
The debut for the national team of Belgium took place on April 20, 1966 in a friendly match against the French team (3: 0), in which Lambert also scored a goal. He was included in the national team for the 1970 World Cup in Mexico (2 goals scored) and for the 1972 European Championship in Belgium (1 goal scored and included in the tournament team). In total, Lambert played 33 matches for the national team and scored 18 goals.
