Aliken

Aliken , Aliakber , Shaleken (born unknown after 1859), khan, the youngest son of Sultan Karabas, great-grandson of Khan Kuchuk , ruled the konyrats , part of the Kypchaks of the Middle Zhuz , some clans of the Saryuysun tribe of the Senior Zhuz . During the years of the national liberation movement of the Kazakhs against Kokand oppression, Aliken was declared a khan (1858). In August 1858, Aliken assembled a 5,000th armed detachment to fight against the kokandnev.
