Yevgeny Vasilyevich Zverozomb-Zubovsky ( Ukrainian: Evgen Vasilovich Zvirozomb-Zubovsky ; February 19 ( March 3 ) 1890 , Kiev - April 21, 1967, Kiev) - Ukrainian Soviet entomologist , corresponding member of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences (February 22, 1939), chairman of the Ukrainian Entomological Society , an honorary member of the All-Union Entomological Society, one of the organizers of the plant protection business in Ukraine and Russia.

Biography
Born February 19 (March 3), 1890 in Kiev. In 1916 he graduated from Kiev University . Since 1 923, he headed the station in Kiev and the entomology department of the Kiev Agricultural Station. He worked on the study of the entomofauna of Ukraine and southern Russia. He was the main entomologist of the Soyuzsahar management. In 1939-1945 he worked at the Institute of Zoology of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR. Then in 1946-1956 he worked at the Institute of Entomology and Phytopathology of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR (in 1949-1950, as a director, and in 1950-1956 as head of the laboratory).
The main scientific works were devoted to the study of the entomofauna of Ukraine and the south of Russia. He is the author of fundamental reviews on the biology of sugar beet pests, barn pests and harmful rodents . One of the organizers of the plant protection service. Vice-President of the All-Union Society of Entomologists (1947-1967).
He lived in Kiev in the House of Scientists on Chelyuskintsev Street, 15. He died in Kiev on April 21, 1967 . He was buried in the Baykovsky cemetery (plot number 24).
