Nazarov Vladimir Titovich ( January 31, 1936 , Vitebsk - 2013 , Riga ) - Soviet and Belarusian scientist- biomechanic, professor , doctor of science . Author of more than 200 scientific papers and over 30 inventions in the field of biomechanics of sports , medicine , cosmetology . Founder of a scientific direction in rehabilitation and sports medicine, called “ biomechanical stimulation of muscle activity (Nazarov stimulation)”.

Biography
In 1959 he graduated in the field of human anatomy and physiology . In 1960 he became the master of sports of the USSR in gymnastics . Since 1968, Ph.D. [1] .
In 1962-1986 he taught at the Riga Polytechnic Institute . At the same time, in 1976-1992, he was chairman of the Scientific Council of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR on problems of biomechanics. In 1982–1994, Head of the Department of Biomechanics of the Belarusian State Institute of Physical Culture [1] .
