Biography
Graduated from Kazan Institute of Chemical Technology, mechanical engineer.
- 1955-1966 - mechanic of the workshop, head of the workshop, deputy chief engineer, chairman of the factory committee, secretary of the party committee, chief engineer of the Kazan factory of rubber products,
- 1966-1969 - First Secretary of the Privolzhsky District Committee of the CPSU of Kazan,
- 1969-1983 - First Secretary of the Nizhnekamsk City Committee of the CPSU. During this period, more than 160,000 m² of housing, general education schools, kindergartens and other social and cultural facilities were commissioned annually. A chemical engineering institute, polytechnic and petrochemical colleges, medical and musical schools, vocational lyceums, centers of children's and technical creativity and a number of other facilities were commissioned and opened.
- 1982-1985 - Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Tatar ASSR,
- 1985-1991 - Director of the All-Union Scientific Research Institute of Hydrocarbons.
Since 1991 - General Director of the Volgaplast Swiss-Tatarstan Joint Venture.
He was elected a deputy to the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR, a deputy to the Supreme Soviet of the Tatar ASSR.
Awards and titles
He was awarded the Order of the October Revolution, two orders of the Red Banner of Labor and medals.
