Biography

In 1966, he became a member of the band Iron Butterfly , which rehearsed in the garage of his parents [1] . In the initial composition of the group, Deloich participated in the recording of the album Heavy , for which he wrote several songs [2] [3] . In 1967, shortly before the release of the album, Darryl left the Iron Butterfly with Jerry Penrod and Danny Weiss. [4] In 1968, he performed with the band Two Guitars, Piano, Drum and Darryl , which included Craig Tarwater, Ron Woods, Don McCallister and John Day. [5] This band recorded two singles. In 1970, along with Penrod, Deloach joined Eric Flann's Flintwhistle group. The team lasted less than a year and did not leave records.

In 2001, Darryl released his solo album Through the Hands of Time . He died in 2002 in his mother’s house, after a long battle with liver cancer [6] [7] .
