Parastenaropodites panneus (lat.) - fossil species of insects from the family Mesorthopteridae (order Grylloblattida ). The Permian period (Mutovino, the Poldarsa longline, the Vuchapinsky longline, the age of the discovery is 254-259 million years), Russia , the Vologda Oblast . Front wing length - 23.0 mm. Nursing taxa: Parastenaropodites aquilonius , P. stirps , P. circumhumatus , P. fluxa , P. intricatus , P. longiuscula , P. exossis , P. rigidus , P. vyatica . The species was first described in 2014 by the Russian paleoentomologist D. S. Aristov ( Paleontological Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences , Moscow ) by fossil footprints [1] [2] .
