The narrow gauge railway in the Kuzyug forest station was built in 1946 . The length of the main line of the narrow gauge railway was at least 22 kilometers, the narrow gauge railway began in the village of Bezbozhnik , passed through the village of Kuzyug. The depot was in the village of Bezbozhnik , the lower warehouse of the narrow gauge railway was also located there , the timber was reloaded into broad gauge wagons. It got its name from the Cobra River, to which it was supposed to extend the road.
In May of May , the May timber industry enterprise was formed; the formation of the timber industry enterprise took place between 1957 and 1959 [2] .
Current status
In 1992, as a result of the privatization of the May timber industry enterprise, Mayskles OJSC was founded. Since then, Maiskles has been actively cooperating with large companies in Germany , Turkey , the USA and other countries. Unlike the vast majority of forest industry enterprises, the May timber industry was almost not affected by perestroika and the general economic downturn. Movement in a narrow gauge railway is carried out by radio communication through a system of dispatch orders, each of which has its own code and is recorded in a separate dispatcher log, as well as in the driver's route. The main control room is located at the Cobra station in the village of Bezbozhnik , the other is at 46 km at the intersection with the Kirov - Syktyvkar highway in the building of the shift duty post at In 2014, the narrow gauge railway of Maiskles OJSC operated, the total length of the narrow gauge railway is about 80 kilometers. Narrow gauge traffic is very frequent, with several cargo flights per day [3] .
