Vyapryazhovo is a former village that became part of Moscow in the 18th century. It was located on the territory of the modern Presnensky district [1] .
The village of Vyapryazhkovo was located near the village of Kudrino , at the confluence of the Studenets stream at the confluence of the Moscow River . The first mention of him is in the will of the associate of Dmitry Donskoy Prince Vladimir Andreevich Serpukhov , which dates from the beginning of the XV century . The village was ruined during the years of strife between Vasily the Dark and the sons of Prince Yuri Dmitrievich . Since then, Vypryazhkovo has become the village of the Kudrinsk patrimony, which belonged to the Novinsky monastery [1] .
The monastery owned the village until the beginning of the 18th century, when it was granted to Prince Matvey Petrovich Gagarin , a prominent associate of Peter the Great . After his execution for bribery, the village was confiscated, but after some time it was transferred to his son Alexei . At this time, the village was called Studenets after the princely estate. Gagarins owned the estate until the end of the 18th century. In 1834, the new owners transferred it to the state to organize a gardening school [2] .
