Mashkinsky Ruchey ( Pykhanka ) is a small river in the Kurkino area of the North-Western administrative district of Moscow , the left tributary of Skhodnya [1] . The river got its name from the village of Mashkino. The hydronym Pyhanka has an anthroponymic origin [2] .

The river is 2.6 km long [2] . The source is located at the southern edge of the Khimki cemetery . The river is formed by the confluence of two streams - Khutorsky (Cemetery) and Village. The watercourse flows south, in the area of the former village of Mashkino, turns west and flows along the Mashkinskoye highway . The mouth is located northwest of Yurovskaya Street , in the territory of the Skhodnya Valley in Kurkino Natural Park . On the left side of the river there are nameless tributaries and waters of the Kurkinskiy stream [2] [3] .
