Gazarov, Kamo Alexandrovich

Kamo Gazarov ( Uzbek Kamo Gazarov ; December 5, 1959 , Samarkand , Uzbek SSR , USSR - February 14, 2018 , Kaliningrad , Russia [1] ) is a Soviet and Uzbek footballer who played as defender and midfielder. After the completion of his playing career, he was a coach.

Career

Kamo Gazarov began his career in 1985 as part of the Samarkand Dynamo . In the 1985 season he played 21 matches and scored one goal. There is no accurate reliable information about Gazarov’s career in the years 1986-1989 and 1991-1992. During 1990, he played for the Sherdor club, for which he played seven matches and scored one goal. In 1993, he played for Dynamo Samarkand, for which he played 23 matches and scored one goal.

Career as a trainer

After completing his career as a football player, he became a coach and worked in various structures of Samarkand Dynamo. Until 2010, he was one of the junior coaches at this club. In the seasons of 2010 and 2011, he was the head coach of the Samarkand “ Registan ”. In 2012, he returned to Dynamo, becoming an assistant head coach. [2] [3] In the second half of that year, he worked as an assistant to the head coach of Bukhara . [4] In early 2013, he was appointed head coach of Samarkand Dynamo and led the team until July of that year.
