History

The first mention of the village dates back to the beginning of the XVII century, in the census it figured just like Manukhino, was the estate of the brothers Warrior and Peter Timofeevich Pushkin.

The warrior served as a military leader in Berezov and Bryansk, and Peter, a direct ancestor of A. S. Pushkin , was also engaged in military affairs, in particular he was a Moscow "head-round". In 1615, he received 200 quarters of the land and 10 rubles in cash as a reward “for the Moscow cleansing (ousting Polish troops from the city) and for the wound”. After the death of Peter in 1633, Manukhino passed into the estate of Nikita Voinovich Pushkin, and in 1673 became the property of his nephews Fyodor and Peter Petrovich , who in the same year gave the village to Artamon Sergeyevich Matveev , who was close to Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich , “the first minister”, as they called his visitors. In 1676 he built a church, after which the village became known as Spasskoye-Manukhino. Like most of the other estates of Matveev, which crashed during palace intrigues, the village of Spassky passed into state ownership and was transferred in 1683 to the son of the boyar Andrei Artamonovich . His successors sold the village to Count P.I. Yaguzhinsky , one of Peter's greatest associates. Yaguzhinsky was a native of the family of a poor Lithuanian organist who played in the German settlement , he attracted the attention of the tsar with his intelligence and honesty, became his batman, he was given important tasks, and as a result he received the rank of prosecutor general, “this rank, like an eye ours and the solicitor of state affairs must do the right thing in everything, ”he received such an order from Peter. Spasskoye-Manukhino was the property of P.I. Yaguzhinsky until the latter's death in 1736, then his son Sergei , who sold the village in 1779, inherited the village. In the subsequent XVIII and XIX centuries Spasskoye-Manukhino passed many times from one owner to another, in particular, one of its owners was the merchant of the first guild, who became rich in trade with foreigners, Grigory Kiryakov , who owned the palace on Petrovka (No. 21). He opened a porcelain factory in Setun . Before the October Revolution in the village were the estates of the Sabashnikovs and Prokhorovs.

The only attraction of the village that has survived to this day is the Spasskaya Church (18 Ryabinovaya Street).

The manor and the manor park were located next to the Spasskaya Church , and next to it was a cemetery. After Setun became part of Kuntsev, the cemetery was called Kuntsevsky .
