Adam Davidson ( born Adam Davidson ; born August 13, 1964) is an American television actor and director from Los Angeles. Davidson has appeared in films such as Daytime Travelers, Return of the Lost Paradise, and Irene in Time. In addition to acting, Davidson has also directed several television programs, including Community , Lost , Deadwood , Anatomy of Passion , The Client Is Always Dead , and The Edge . He is the son of the acclaimed American theater producer and director Gordon Davidson.

His directorial debut, “A Date at Breakfast,” won the Academy Award for Best Feature Short Film [1] and the Golden Palm Branch for a short film at the 1990 Cannes Film Festival . [2]
