Herald of Manchuria ( Chinese trade. 東 省 雜誌 , control 东 省 杂志 , pinyin : Dōngshěng zá zhì , during the years of Japanese occupation - Chinese control 满洲 杂志 , pinyin : Mǎnzhōu zázhì ) is a periodical published by the CER Economic Bureau. He was one of the leading journals in economic research not only in the Manchurian region, but also in East Asia . Articles were published in Russian with annotations in English. Published in Harbin .

The magazine was established in 1923 under the name "Economic Newsletter of Manchuria", with the subtitle "Weekly publication of the Economic Bureau of the CER Railway on Trade, Industry, Transport and Finance" [1] . The first issue was released on January 28, 1923 . At first it was an information publication about what was happening in the region and the railway industry of the region. Until 1925, the magazine was published once a week, the volume of the issue was 54 pages [2] .
In 1925, the editing of the journal was transferred to the commercial and industrial section of the Society for the Study of the Manchurian Territory (OIMK), which reduced its name to "Herald of Manchuria." He began to come out less often - once a month, the volume increased to 120 or more pages, the topic of articles expanded - now they covered not only Manchuria, but also the territory of Soviet Russia. The key topics were trade, industry and agriculture [3] . From 1925 to 1934 106 issues were published, more than 5 thousand articles were published in them, of which at least 200 were written by OMIC members and at least 650 by the Economic Bureau articles and notes [2] .
Since 1933, the magazine began to be published twice a month [3] .
As a result of the sale of the Chinese Eastern Railway in 1934, the magazine was closed [4] .
