Svishloch ( Belor. Sv_slach, Svіslach , pronunciation ) Is a river in Belarus and Poland , a left tributary of the Neman . The length is 137 km, the basin area is 1750 km². It originates on the Volkovysk upland between the town of Svisloch and the villages of Gritsky and Zanka, flows into the Neman above Grodno . Average consumption (12 km from the mouth) 7.6 m³ / s. High water is observed from February to April. In the lower reaches is a hydroelectric station . On the middle course it forms the state border of Belarus and Poland.

The valley in the upper and lower reaches is trapezoidal, 0.8–2 km wide, on average not expressed. The slopes are gentle and moderately steep, cut by valleys of tributaries and ravines. The floodplain is two-sided, its width is 300–500 m, even, in the middle course it is not pronounced, mostly marshy [1]
The channel over a length of 30.6 km has been sewed: from the source to the village of Dvorchany (8.5 km) and from the border with Poland to the village of Yarmolichi (22.1 km). For the rest of the length of the winding, its width in the upper reaches of 3-6 m, below 10-35 m, in some places up to 60 m [1] . The height of the mouth is 97.9 m above sea level [2] .
The main tributaries are the Lashanka, Indura , Odla , Usnarka , Krynka, Netupa , Kolodzhezhanka, Istochanka (left); Pikelka, Vereteyka , Berestovichanka , Tishovka, Pupae, Rudavka (right).
The largest city on the river is Svisloch .
