Biography
Tamara Musakhanova managed to graduate from several art schools in different cities - first in Makhachkala, then in Moscow and Alma-Ata. Then she continued her education, entered the pedagogical institute. [2]
In 1949 she graduated from the Kalinin Moscow Art and Industrial College . She worked on the creation of sculptures and works of decorative and applied art in ceramics and faience , and also was engaged in painting. The plot of her work concerns the simple values of life - national traditions in work and leisure, in clothes and holidays. [2]
She was awarded medals by the Ministry of Culture and the Union of Artists of the Russian Federation. She had diplomas and certificates of honor for participating in republican art exhibitions and for her creative successes in the development of Soviet decorative and applied art. Musakhanova’s many works are in the collections of 15 Russian art museums, including the Tretyakov Gallery , the State Museum of Oriental Art, the Kuskov Museum-Estate , [1] as well as in private collections in Russia, Israel, Germany, England and America. Since 1990, Tamara Musakhanova has been living in Israel in Haifa, where she actively works and participates in exhibitions: an exhibition of repatriates Omanut Ole (1994), in the Zafon Gallery (1998), personal in Haifa (1998). , an exhibition of artists from the Caucasus in Netanya (1999), artists of the Caucasus in Merkaz, ha-music Tel Aviv-Jaffa (2000), etc. [1]
In an interview with the Israeli journalist Khan Rafael for the article "The blessed memory of Tamara Musakhanova," Tamara Musakhanova said:
... My last personal exhibition was held in Moscow in 1990, it took place for a month. The Tretyakov Gallery and the Russian Art Fund acquired for themselves my best works. And the year before, in 1989, I received a mandate invitation and took part in the World Jewish Congress in Moscow ...
Tamara Musakhanova’s husband, Abram Vladimirovich Fridberg , “Honored Artist of Russia”, died in Israel [4] .
Tamara Musakhanova and Abram Friedberg had three children, Mikhail Fridberg, Peter Friedberg and Lyubov Mataeva [5] .
Albert Nakhamievich Musakhanov - Tamara Nakhamievna’s brother, candidate of agricultural sciences, lived in the suburbs. Sister Asya Musakhanova, graduated from the University of Philology, worked at the Pedagogical Institute [4] .
Tamara Musakhanova died in 2014. She was buried in Haifa, Israel [2] .
