Biography
Member of the Great Patriotic War, participant in the fighting on the Volkhov Front, breaking the blockade of Leningrad, the liberation of Novgorod, Estonia, participant in the East Prussian operation and the assault of Koenigsberg.
In 1952 he graduated from the Leningrad Shipbuilding Institute. Candidate of Technical Sciences (1955). He worked as an assistant professor in the department of ship steam boilers of the Leningrad Shipbuilding Institute.
In 1964-1980 - Rector of the Kaliningrad Technical Institute of Fishing Industry and Economy. Actively worked to strengthen the material and technical and scientific base of the university. On his initiative, a student sports camp was put into operation in the village of Otradnoye, construction of training laboratories began, and the fund of the scientific and technical library was significantly replenished. A number of specialized lecture halls were opened, the sports complex of the department of physical education was re-equipped and expanded.
Since 1980 - Associate Professor of the Department of Construction, Heat Supply and Ventilation of the Kaliningrad Technical Institute of the Fishing Industry and Economy / Kaliningrad State Technical University.
