History

According to the 6th revision of 1811, Zaborovskaya Manor belonged to the captain A. P. Skvortsov [2] .

The village of Vilpuzi or Vilpovitsy of 25 yards is mentioned on the “Topographic Map of the Environs of St. Petersburg” by F. F. Schubert in 1831 [3] .

According to the 8th revision of 1833, the manor was called Lapino and also belonged to captain A. P. Skvortsov [4] [5] .

VILPOVITSY - the village belongs to the heirs of the late guard Captain Skvortsov, the number of inhabitants under the audit: 59 mp., 72 women. p. (1838) [6]

On the ethnographic map of the St. Petersburg province of P. I. Köppen, 1849 is mentioned as the village "Wilpusi", inhabited by Izhora [7] .

In the explanatory text of the ethnographic map, it is recorded as the village of Wilppusi ( Vilpovitsy, Vilpuzi ) and the number of its inhabitants for 1848 is indicated: Ingermanlanders - Savakot - 9 m., 16 w. p., Izhora - 37 m. p., 38 g. n., a total of 100 people [8] .

According to the 9th revision of 1850, the village of Vilpovitsy belonged to the landowner Skvortsov [9] .

VILPOVITSY - the village of Mr. Skvortsov, on a country road, the number of yards - 16, the number of souls - 41 m. (1856) [10]

According to the 10th revision of 1856, the village of Vilpovitsy belonged to the landowner Skvortsov [11] .

In 1860, the village of Vilpuzi Vilpovice consisted of 20 yards [12] .

VILPUZI (VILPOVITSY) - the owner's village on the Kamenka River, on the right side of the Koporskaya Road, 26 miles from Peterhof, the number of yards - 28, the number of inhabitants: 50 m., 49 railways. p. (1862) [13]

In 1872-1879, temporarily liable peasants of the village bought their land allotments from V. A. Furova and became the owners of the land [14] .

In 1885, the village of Vilpuzi Vilpovice also had 20 yards.

In the 19th century, the village administratively belonged to the Gostilitsky volost of the 1st camp of the Peterhof district of St. Petersburg province, and at the beginning of the 20th century, the 3rd camp.

By 1913, the number of yards has not changed [15] .

From 1917 to 1923, the village was part of the Levolovsky village council of the Gostilitsky volost of Peterhof district.

Since 1924, as part of the Zaborovsky Village Council.

Since 1927, as part of the Oranienbaum district .

In 1928, the population of the village of Vilpovitsy was 124 people [16] .

According to 1933, the village of Vilpovitsy was part of the Zaborovsky (Zaborodsky) village council of the Oranienbaum district [17] .

According to the topographic map of 1939, the village was called Wilpowice and consisted of 23 peasant yards.

The village was liberated from Nazi occupation on January 19, 1944.

Since 1954, as part of the Gostilitsky Village Council.

Since 1963, as part of the Gatchina district.

Since 1965, again as part of the Lomonosov district. In 1965, the population of the village of Vilpovitsy was 58 people [16] .

According to the data of 1966 and 1973, the village of Vilpovitsy was also part of the Gostilitsky village council, and the central estate of the Spirinsky state farm was located in the village [18] [19] .

According to 1990 data, the village of Vilpovitsy was part of the Orzhitsa Village Council of the Lomonosov District [20] .

In 1997, 136 people lived in the village, in 2002 - 118 people (Russian - 92%), in 2007 - 130 [21] [22] [23] .

Geography

The village is located in the central part of the district on the highway 41K-246 ( Petrovskoye - Gostilitsy ).

The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 2 km [23] .

The distance to the nearest railway station Oranienbaum I is 28 km [18] .

The village is located on the Baltic-Ladoga ledge (glint), between Orzhitsy and Gostilitsy.
