Boldov creek

Boldov Stream is the left tributary of the Skhodnya River, its channel runs between the microdistricts 11a and 11b of Zelenograd . The length of the channel is 5.5 km, within Zelenograd - 3.9 km [1] . The stream originates at the border of the village of Chashnikovo in the Solnechnogorsk district of the Moscow region, the mouth is located a couple of tens of meters southwest of the intersection of Panfilovsky Prospekt and Filaretovskaya Street . In the Boldova stream valley there are ornamental grasses ( meadow cornflower , kupyr , ivan-tea ) and ruderal plants , often growing near buildings, in wastelands, in forest belts, near transport communications and in other secondary places of growth ( artifacts , prairie meadow , St. John's wort perforated , tansy and a variety of cereals). The avifauna here is represented by such species as the curler , pied flycatcher , common greenfinch , goldfinch , nightingale and others, as well as bird species common for urban areas [2] [3] [4] .

Named after the architect Alexander Borisovich Boldov , deputy chief architect of Zelenograd. There is evidence that before getting the name of Boldov, the stream was called the Bayka River [5] .
