Forrest Gump (novel)

Forrest Gump is a 1986 Winston Groom novel. Filmed from the novel, Robert Zemeckis was released in 1994 and subsequently received 6 Academy Award.

Story

The main character of the book is Forrest Gump , a kind and naive adult man born of a mentally retarded child.
Most people consider him to be a real idiot simply because he cannot connect a couple of words. Despite the low intellect, the guy has life experience, as well as abilities that are not available to other, seemingly more intelligent and wealthy people.

The narrative of the events taking place in his life is conducted on his behalf.
