Barton Lui Pintao ( born Pan-To Barton Lui , Chinese trad. 呂 品 韜 , exercise. 吕 品 韬 was born on April 8, 1993 in Hong Kong) is a Hong Kong short-track player . Participant in the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics, the standard bearer of Hong Kong at the opening ceremony . The first Hong Kong participant in the Olympic short track starts.

Barton Lui Pintao grew up in Saivanho , Hong Kong, lived and trained in Vancouver (Canada), Changchun (China), Seoul (South Korea).
He is fluent in putonghua and Cantonese in English.
Career
He started doing short track in Hong Kong at the age of 10. As a teenager, he moved to Vancouver (Canada) for proper training, then moved to train in Changchun (China). Since 2012, he trained at the Korean National Sports University (Seoul, South Korea). In 2018, he joined the Hong Kong short track team.
The international debut took place in 2010 at the 1000-meter race of the World Cup. The first medal was won in 2012 at the Asian Championship among juniors. In November 2012, at the World Championships (Turin, Italy and Kolomna, Russia), Barton Lui Pintao qualified for the 2014 Winter Olympics in the 1,500-meter race. Currently - Hong Kong record holder in short track in 500 m, 1000 m, 1500 m races.
