Description
Distinctive features of the genus: the bunches are long, in the male with very short hairs, the proboscis is very long, the chest is without crest. The crest is on the upper side of the abdomen, the wings, the front pair of which are pointed, in a calm state fold roof-like.
Rich people fly not only at night and at dusk, but even during the day and differ from other owl heads in a bright, metallic shiny color. Caterpillars 12 legs, thin in front, thickening in back, with warts carrying thin single hairs. Pupa slender in a silky cocoon. They are placed between the leaves.
