In the fall of 1473, after the death of Mamak Bey, Kara-Mirza and Eminek began to apply for the posts of Karachi-bey and the head of the Shirin clan. Kara-Mirza was related to the Khan's brother Ayder and enjoyed influence at the court of Mengli Geray . Eminek turned for help to the Genoese in the Cafe. At the request of the Genoese, Mengli Gerai appointed Eminek's Karachi Bek.

Shirinsky Murza Eminek Bey, becoming a Karachi Bek, became the first person after the Khan in the Crimean Khanate. Soon, the relationship between Khan and Karachi-Bek worsened. Eminek demanded that Mengli Geray give him his wife, the widow of Haji Geray, to him, but was refused. His nephew Sheydak, son of Mamak Bey, declared his claims to the post of head of the clan Shirin. At first, Sheydak turned to the Genoese for help, but without receiving it, fled to the Great Horde. Soon Mengli Geray dismissed Eminek, who fled to the North Caucasus , and persuaded Sheydak to return to Crimea. In February 1475, under the pressure of the Genoese , Mengli Gerai appointed Shirinov Shaydak as a new bay.

Several times, the Shirin clan led by Eminek participated in riots against the Crimean Khan Mengli Geray, in particular during the Ottoman invasion of Crimea in 1475 , however, he mainly lived with the ruler of the state in the world.

In March 1475, the Crimean Khan Mengli Gerai was removed from the throne by beys and fled to Kafu under the protection of the Genoese. The new Crimean Khan was proclaimed his elder brother Ayder . Emenek Bey returned to Crimea and got back the position of Karachi-Bek Shirinov. His nephew Sheydak took refuge in a Cafe . Eminek with the Tatar army besieged Kafu. At the end of May 1475, the Ottoman army landed in Crimea under the command of the great vizier Gedik Ahmed Pasha . Eminek with the Tatar cavalry united with the Turks and took part in the siege and capture of Kafa. His rival Shaydak was found and killed by order of Eminek. Ottoman Turks conquered all the Genoese colony cities in Crimea and seated on the khan’s throne of Nur-Devlet . Soon, his younger brother Hadjike, who, with his supporters, fled to the Great Horde, opposed Eminek. Khadzhik with the Horde army invaded Crimea, but was repelled by Eminek.

In the summer of 1476, on the orders of the Sultan, Eminek Bey, at the head of a 10,000-strong army, participated in a campaign against the Moldavian Principality . Moldavian ruler Stefan the Great twice repelled the Tatar attack. At this time, a large Horde army invaded Crimea, under the command of the son of Khan Akhmat . Horde ruined and subjugated the entire peninsula. Khan of the Great Horde Akhmat appointed the Crimean Khan his nephew Janibek. Emenek Bey returned to Crimea and, almost captured by enemies, took refuge in Eski-Kırym . In 1477, the Crimean Bey, under the leadership of Eminek, expelled Janibek and elevated to the khan’s throne of Nur-Devlet . The relationship between the khan and the karachi-bek did not work out again. Soon, Eminek Bey sent a letter to the Ottoman Sultan Mehmed Fatih , asking him to be released from captivity and appoint Mengli Geray as the new Crimean Khan. In the spring of 1478, Mengli Geray with a Turkish detachment arrived from Istanbul to the Crimea, where he occupied the khan’s throne.

At first, Eminek Bey was friendly to the Russian state , participated in negotiations with the Grand Duke of Moscow Ivan III Vasilyevich . His son Devletek from the Moscow envoy, boyar Timofey Ignatievich Scriaby Morozov , received a dangerous letter with a gold seal for living in Moscow estates. In 1482, Eminek was bribed by the king of Poland and the Grand Duke of Lithuania Casimir IV and persuaded the khan to make peace with Lithuania ; only the energetic actions of the Moscow government forced him to cancel this world.
