History

It was first mentioned in the scribe books of the Shelonsky Pyatina of 1571, as the village of Gornechno Zadnoye near Lake Gornechenko - 2 lakes , in the Belsky graveyard of the Novgorod district [2] .

According to the census of 1710, the Gornechenko manor in the Belsky graveyard of the Novgorod district was registered with the fifteen-year-old landowner Yevstrat and his young brothers Peter, Dmitry and Nikifor Pazhinsky, the estate included a landowner’s yard (“ there are 13 people in the man’s man, 11 women are female )” and 1 peasant's yard , where 13 men and 22 women lived [3] .

As the village of Gorneshka, it is indicated on the map of the St. Petersburg province of 1792 by A. M. Wilbrecht [4] .

Then, as the village of Gornoye Gorneshno, it is mentioned on the map of the St. Petersburg province of F. F. Schubert in 1834 [5] .

In the first half of the 19th century, a wooden chapel was erected in the village in the name of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos, the parish of the Church of the Savior Not Made by Hands in the village of Syabero [7] .

The village of Gornoe is marked on the map of Professor S. S. Kutorgi in 1852 [8] .

In 1864, temporarily liable peasants of the village bought their land plots from A. A. Bartenev and became the owners of the land [12] .

According to the 1882 farmstead inventory:

RESIDENTIAL-MINING - a village of the Gorneshensky society of the Bielsko-Sabersky volost, houses - 37, allotment areas - 51, families - 19, number of inhabitants - 71 m., 75 women. P.; category of peasants - owners [10]

The compilation of the Central Statistical Committee described it like this:

RESIDENTIAL GORNECHNA - the former owner's village, 30 yards, residents - 138; chapel, shop. (1885) [13]

According to the statistics on the national economy of the Luga district in 1891, the Rykovschina wasteland in the village of Zhilye Gorneche, with an area of ​​195 dessiatines, belonged to the local peasant A. Alekseev with five brothers, the wasteland was purchased in 1874 for 112 rubles [14] .

In the XIX - early XX centuries, the village administratively belonged to the Bielsko-Sabersky volost of the 4th zemsky section of the 2nd camp of the Luga district of St. Petersburg province.

According to the "Memorial Book of the St. Petersburg Province" for 1905, the village was called Zhilaya Gornechna and was a member of the Gorneshensk rural community [15] .

From 1917 to 1927, the village was part of the Gorneshensky village council of the Butkovsky volost of the Luga district.

Since August 1927, as part of the Luga region.

In 1927, the population of the village was 281 people.

Since November 1928, as part of the Verduzhsky Village Council [16] .

According to the data of 1933, the Zhilnoye Gorneshno village was part of the Verdu village council of the Luga region [17] .

From August 1, 1941 to January 31, 1944, the village was under occupation.

In 1958, the population of the village was 78 people [16] .

According to the data of 1966 and 1973, the Zhilnoye Gorneshno village was part of the Verduzh village council [18] [19] .

According to 1990, the village Gornoe Gorneshno was part of the Voloshovsky village council [20] .

In 1997, 7 people lived in the Zhilnoye village of Gorneshno Voloshovskaya volost, in 2002 - 15 people (Russians - 73%) [21] [22] .

In 2007, there was no permanent population in the village Zhiloye Gorneshno of the Voloshovsky joint venture [23] .

Geography

The village is located in the western part of the district near the highway 41K-145 ( Retyun - Sara-Log ).

The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 13 km [23] .

The distance to the nearest Serebryanka railway station is 70 km [18] .

The village is located on the eastern shore of Lake Gorneshensky .
