Lituites [1] ( lat. Lituites ) is a genus of extinct cephalopods from the family Lituitidae . They lived during the time of the Ordovician - Silurian ( 468.1-423.0 million years ago) [2] . First found in Scandinavia, later in China in the Hunan province.
